Abstract

Фотографија, као нови визуелни код, изменила је начин на који посматрамо свет и границе онога што сматрамо дозвољеним да видимо. У том оквиру, овај рад истражује постмортем фотографију панонских Русина у Руском Крстуру почетком XX века, показујући како је ова пракса обликовала локалне визуелне и културне представе о смрти. Анализа открива специфичне моделе памћења и начине визуализације покојника који су били карактеристични за заједницу.
